Rules from God for 2013

1. Wake Up!! Decide to have a good day.
"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalm 118:24

2. Dress Up!! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart" 1 Samuel 16:7

3. Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.
"He who guards his lips guards his soul" Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand Up!! For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look Up!! To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13

6. Reach Up!! For something higher.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path" Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift Up!! Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything; Instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING" Philippians 4:6

"As for God, His way is perfect: The word of the Lord is proven; he is a shield to all who trust in Him" Psalm 18:30

God wants to be your guide!

Enjoy with God

Dear friend,

For those that are young and thinking they are enjoying life to the “fullest” I invite you to start making smarter choices.  “Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” Ecclesiastes 11:9-10, 12:1.  Being young is the most beautiful thing there is.  Explore the world and take on the world.  As long as you have God by your side you will be able to do so much!  Be careful in getting involved with things from this world because they will only bring you heartaches and regrets.  Enjoy being young but do it the right way!  The Bible is full of lessons for you to teach you how to live the right way!

Jesus is your Love!

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16

"We have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. We love Him because He first loved us." 1 John 4:16-19

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." Jeremiah 31:3

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." John 14:21

"The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me--a prayer to the God of my life." Psalm 42:8

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13
